Description
Under Windows XP, if QGIS and other stuff installed in the folder different from C:\OSGeo4W, lets say to C:\Gis\OSGeo4W, 2 problems emerge:
- To be able to run QGIS, qgis.bat should be edited to reflect change in the install folder
- QSQLITE driver doesn't show up in the list of sources of QGIS and subsequently SQLite drivers cannot be used.
If QGIS is installed with Express option to C:\OSGeo4W folder, everything works ok by default.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
I can confirm the problem no. 1. I just used the installer on XP yesterday, and wanted to place the installation in a folder on drive
D:
, which resulted inqgis.bat
having the default pathC:\OSGeo4W
and not the installation pathD:\[...]\OSGeoW4
.
