SVN for VisCom or Newsletter

For tracking the Newsletter development process we would like to use SVN. Can an SVN instance for this be set up? This is basically a VisCom effort, so it may make more sense to just have an SVN for VisCom in general, then we'll have a newsletter subsection.

http://svn.osgeo.org/osgeo was added during the SVN migration last weekend. Any LDAP-authenticated user can currently commit to the repository.

I would like to see a "general" osgeo svn that has stuff like this, the website, etc rather than proliferating lots and lots of instances. They have quite a bit of administrative overhead with each one --- user permissions, backups, etc -- as well as once it's out there, we seem to have to support it forever :)

There is the potential to limit specific groups of users to different parts of the svn tree, but I've never done that in practice.
