you could an OSGeo blog account f.e. http://www.osgeo.org/blog/mapbender
- do we provide something similar with the new webside?

astride_emde are you looking for ability to create a blog on www.osgeo.org for Mapbender which would then get aggregated on planet.osgeo.org or do you have an existing mapbender blog you want aggregated on planet.osgeo.org?
I'm thinkign planet.osgeo.org should be aggregating www.osgeo.org posts (like events and news) at anyrate.
It looks like there is one for: OSGeo EDU

Both show 0 articles which seems a little odd.
