GRASS help not displayed from GUI menu in GRASS 7

Description
Selecting GRASS help (not GUI help) runs g.manual entry=wxGUI instead of g.manual -i like it is supposed to.
This is showing up in r50724 compiled yesterday for Mac OSX

the menudata.xml file is correct but is ignored when "GRASS help". Notice that when this menu item is selected, "g.manual entry=wxGUI" is displayed in the console.
A guess: this is somehow being rerouted by a command handler to ignore the -i in g.manual -i and interpreted as g.manual entry=wxGUI as a default.
