I would like the priority of this ticket to be reconsidered.

The customisation of the GUI of GeoNetwork is quite difficult and lengthy. It seems to require the modification of files and styles that can be replaced/modified by GeoNetwork updates. For example, the 'password' label in the authentication block:

  • its size and location are defined in HTML inline css attributes (not in a css file)
  • its id does not seem to be stable: ext-comp-1045 looks like an id automagically generated.

We need some clean mechanism to customise the styles of GeoNetwork web pages.
