The layer is not a valid layer and can not be added to the map
but an instant later the map is added anyway.
Using trunk on Ubuntu 10.04

Just checked, here it works. Please check again, and reopen the ticket if still valid. It would be useful if you could shere your data and region settings. A too high resolution might cause this problem.
