When adding an attribute column need to close and reopen the attribute table to see it.

Description

  • Open the attribute table for a shapefile.
  • Click the edit button.
  • Add a column using the new column button. The new column isn't displayed.
  • Close and reopen the attribute table. The new column is displayed.
