labeling: Data defined label placement doesn't work for up and down

Description

Old simbology: Data defined label placement doesn't work for up and down (but yes for right and left).

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open symbology properties for a point layer;
  2. click on "Labels" (mine is in italian, I am trying to translate it)
  3. click on "Data defined settings" mini-tab
  4. set the field for "Alignment"

it works if the Alignment data field contains right and left values, but not for up and down values.

errors in my text:

  1. ABOVE AND BELOW (not Up and Down)
  2. DATA DEFINED PLACEMENT (not Data Defined Settings)
  3. PLACEMENT (not Alignment)
