This ticket is to add some configure switch to allow for only building liblwgeom.

r13882 takes a stub at it. Alessandro: can you test ? —without-postgresql is the configure switch (need ./autogen.sh once after updating the code)

I'm thinking if it this should be done with the existing —with-pgconfig switch, like: —without-pgconfig. r13884 is latest commit here.

hmm I thought we were going to wait till 2.3? pramsey doesn't like scope creep nor do I.

With r14059 I reverted the addition of —without-postgresql switch, replacing it with handling a "no" argument to the existing —with-pgconfig switch (same as —without-pgconfig). It should be less invasive that way. I'm testing this on a PostgreSQL-less machine next.
