we need a desktop background image for version 16. We asked the FOSS4G Kosovo team for input. Have a look at the following images

hello from California -- I think that these sample images show exactly the history of Prizren; tall, proud symbols of tribal identity (mineret), isolated and lonely. These images are stuck in the past, not going to the future.
2) "tourist pictures" are fun for a few minutes, but are not useful for daily work.
To me, the promise of FOSS4G Prizren is "equal access to Science" not tribal declarations of the past. I would like to see images or designs that are good looking but not cultural.

Hello,
I would prefer to ask the FOSS4G 2023 team to help with the design.
We do not have to take the city view I it does not fit.
I would like to take a FOSS4G 2023 connected design for the image. They are working very good on a coorporate design.
But we could take the red-blue-design with the lines. Something like this see links (with ending in a white area from at the side - would make it possible to use it on different screen sizes)

If you do not mind I could discuss with Gresa or others from the team to get some designs. Also Besfort will join us tomorror for the meeting.

An idea is to place the foss4g logo at the top left on the sky.

maybe we set the desktop background to the blue of the sky at the left side instead of black.

I like the idea to add the red lines and the FOSS4G logo. Maybe the logo is better placed in the right top region.
