In 7.0 RC1 I see that the fix is not working. Maybe Jerome's commit has not propagated around to mirrors?? It might be worth to leave the patch in place. If the UbuntuGIS package is already fixed, no harm done in running the patch (it won't do anything...). Thanks, Micha

Hi Micha,

Yes, I see that there are some tools missing from the plugin. The qgis package included in the build is ~precise10 (it includes the patch). I guess there is still something wrong in the package.

Unfortunately time is not on our side, in one week we need to release with or without the fix in order to have DVDs ready for FOSS4G.

Best, Angelos

I applied Jerome's patch in a running RC1 VM and it fixed the missing menu items. Not surprising ;-)

Would you want to re-enable the fix in as you had it in 10778 ?

comment:6 by kalxas, 11 years ago

Yes, I will re-enable in case we do a RC2.

confirmed fixed in nightly build 10789 (post RC1)

There was a typo in the patch included in the package, I fixed it and it's now available on UbuntuGIS.

Just tested the new package in Raring(same as precise) and everything is there.

Sorry about that
