Hi,

fwiw I typically do a final-pedantic tidy version of these right at the end, I plan on doing that again this time. (there is another image to do as well IIRC, one with menu one without)

Brian, did you get my request to make the "7.0" smaller font size so same height as the lowercase "eo" in "OSGeo", then move it up on the same line as "OSGeo", then move the two resulting lines down a bit? (but not so much that it gets snipped on micha's screen :) I find the current layout puts the text a bit too much in your face. Also, how/where to put the osgeo logo/watermark? perhaps on the bootup background or a desktop icon to the www.osgeo.org URL? it seems missing to me.

thanks, Hamish

Hi,

Brian and me did the 2 screenshots needed, after re-sizing the screen resolution to 800x600 as needed.

Regarding artwork, there is an open ticket for it, so I am closing this one.

pedantic versions now in place; fwiw I attach a screenshot showing what I meant about the two lines of text instead of three.
