Dear SAC, today I've participated at the first foss4g spanish meeting. With 30 partecipants we've subscribed a paper to start the local chapter. There were people from Spain as from Latin America. I've seen Arnulf started a wiki page for Latin Chapter but in #osgeo we agreed to join both project as these was an intention from today discussion. http://wiki.osgeo.org/index.php/Sudamerica
I know it would be better to do the wiki page for the spanish chapter. but as we don't have a mailing list already it is complicated to me to write to all of them personally asking to sign in the wiki page and then wait for a mailing list that I'll have to post them again. Sounds weird. I can do it but if we can set up a mailing list for "Español" quickly it would be good to start all discussion directly on it and write all them just once. Arnul agreed to advice the Latin chapter to join once the list will be ready.
