Description
- today the IRC-Matrix bridge communication fails, as the @osgeo-matrix user is no longer in the IRC rooms (the @heisenbridge:osgeo.org user on the Matrix side exists however)
- related to ticket #2970

As incredible as it may be, the problem was that our custom configuration file ended in .yml instead of .yaml and thus was NOT being read by Synapse.
I've no idea when this started happening but I suspect somehow synapse was upgraded.
The problem is now fixed by https://git.osgeo.org/gitea/sac/ansible-deployment/commit/6b79e8729c045ecc24504b239085ec79c5d5706b
