Transfer domain "gdal.io" to OSGeo

Domain gdal.io is currently under the control of hobu, who wishes to transfer it to OSGeo. The current registration expires in 60 days, 60 16th may 2024

I had tried this before and was unsuccessful, but it seems I can initiate a transfer now. I just need the transfer code which he can send to my lr at porp.us email.

I think Hobu still has access to Pairs.com (we haven't changed the password yet), so he can alternatively go thru the whole transfer process himself too if he prefers.

I do have access to pairnic but I didn't want to do anything without notifications, and I don't have credit card access or 2FA if it required anything to initiate a purchase.

Got notice the transfer is complete. Where should this point to?

It doesn't need to point at anything but the GDAL project should keep it so some commercial entity doesn't start using it and having it look like it is related to the project.
