Description ¶
As a result of a recent RFC, the MapStudio Open Source application is becoming an official part of MapGuide Open Source, and will have a place in the MapGuide Trac/SVN/etc.
Kenneth Skovhede will need to be able to upload new builds of this application (which is being renamed to MapGuide Maestro) which will be on a separate release cycle from MapGuide. To do this, he needs access to the server that hosts downloads.osgeo.org, and the ability to write to the physical location of this directory: http://download.osgeo.org/mapguide/ or a subdirectory of the same called "maestro".

Account created.
Directory /osgeo/download/mapguide/maestro created and assigned to the new ksgeograf userid.
Kenneth being notified privately of the password.

I have recieved the instructions and followed them. The default password has been changed. I can confirm that the folder exists, and is writeable by me.
I'll take this.
I'll create a ksgeograf account for Kenneth on upload.osgeo.org, which remotely mounts the download.osgeo.org server disk and is normally used to update it. I'll create the indicated maestro directory and change it to be owned by Kenneth. If needed, I can provide Kenneth with sudo access, but it does not appear this will be strictly needed.
sftp or scp can then be used to upload.
