Hello!
I'm Andrea, from the BALOC FOSS4G 2021, how are you? Several days ago I wanted to create a new user on the wiki, but I did not receive the account confirmation email for the FOSS4G 2021 logo contest. We have also received a complaint from another user that the same thing happens.
This prevents us from uploading their logos. You could review it?

In my case the user is atrovant, or the email is atrovant@…. What happened to me is that I got the link to confirm the account, but never the provisional password. I tried to reset the password but it did not work either.
The email of the user who had problems is dennis.bauszus@… So, the confirmation of new users is manual? Just to keep it in mind.

Hmm so are you all set? I tried doing a reset password on your account, but said it had already been done for today.
As far as dennis. Sorry I thought I could look up usernames by email but appears I can't. You know which user name for dennis.bauszus@… or is that set already.
Yes confirmation of new wiki accounts has always been a manual because of spam issues we've had in the past. So accounts need to be approved via this - page https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Special:ConfirmAccounts
Which is only accessible to people with the bureaucrat role.
I can give you bureaucrat rights if you don't have them already - didn't check.

Access issues have already been resolved.
We only need editing rolls on the pages mentioned above for these two users who are the ones who manage the logo contest.

hello, unfortunately this was not resolved. We were able to access the wiki, but it did not allow us to make any kind of modification to the wiki. I don't know what happened. We also accessed from another user that did allow editing. So I close the ticket. Regards
I did a test to confirm email is working by resetting my test account and I received the email.
Can you let me now which emails (or user names you created) are having issue. I'll take a look. There were 4 unconfirmed accounts in the queue which I just confirmed. Forgot to check the names. One was from sparkgeo as I recall.
