WebExtraVM migrate to OSGeo7 LXD

WebExtraVM is still running on osgeo3. This is next on my list to migrate.

I'll do a trial run first and do final migration perhaps a week after.

I think I'll follow the same strategy I used for tracsvn. I'll start resetting up the websites as proxies on nginx and then repoint after.

So things I see running on this server are:

planet.osgeo.org
journal.osgeo.org
video.foss4g.org
vmap0.tiles.osgeo.org
foss4g.org (www.foss4g2007.org, 2007.foss4g.org, 2006.foss4g.org, www.foss4g-e.org

I'm debating if this one I should move to osgeo4 as osgeo4 is now a bit underutilzed.

I'm keeping on osgeo7 for now maybe after osgeo3 is reformatted I can move some things over.

I have repointed so far:

foss4g.org, www.foss4g.org, europe.foss4g.org; video.foss4g.org; 2010.foss4g.org 2009.foss4g.org 2008.foss4g.org 2007.foss4g.org 2006.foss4g.org; 2014.foss4g.org 2013.foss4g.org 2012.foss4g.org 2011.foss4g.org;

I also did some dns cleanup getting rid of things like 2011-test.

Still more to go. they are still pointing at webextra.osgeo.osuosl.org, but will flip once I have them to point to container all on osgeo7.

Just moved live.osgeo.org and shut down the apache service on it. sent an email to discuss, sac, live.

I plan to have OSUOSL shut down the VM mid next week and then completely shut off osgeo3.

Once this is done, I'll close this ticket out.

We just noticed that ​http://vmap0.tiles.osgeo.org/ is currently unreachable. Is this related to the changes made yesterday?

This should be fixed now, but will take the DNS a bit to propagate.

I tested with this:
