Description
Mark Lucas has hosted www.remotesensing.org since around 2000, but it is currently down and not convenient for him to continue managing. I'd like to set up minimal hosting for this so at least the primary urls for PROJ, libtiff, geotiff, and GDAL continue to work. I plan to set it up on download.osgeo.org (similarly to www.gdal.org).

Setup www.remotesensing.org virtual host (/etc/httpd/conf.d/sites/remotesensing.org.conf).
Setup web tree at /osgeo/remotesensing.org/
Setup default index.html explaining situation (http://www.remotesensing.org/index.html)
Setup proj, libtiff, geotiff trees from CVS.
Pointed GDAL at /osgeo/gdal/gdal-web (also the tree for www.gdal.og and gdal.osgeo.org)
Setup a script (/osgeo/remotesensing.org/webupdate.sh) launched from the frankw account crontab to cvs a cvs update every 15 minutes for proj, libtiff and geotiff.
Updated SAC Service Status wiki page to mention this use of the blade.
