Create e-mail aliases for new board members

Hi,

I would like to ask SAC for creating new e-mail aliases for new OSGeo Board members:

raghavan at media.osaka-cu.ac.jp -> venkatesh.raghavan at osgeo.org
jody.garnett at gmail.com -> jody.garnett at osgeo.org
anitagraser at gmx.at -> anita.graser at osgeo.org
hmitaso at ncsu.edu -> helena.mitasova at osgeo.org
shshin at gaia3d.com -> sanghee.shin at osgeo.org
massimiliano.cannata at gmail.com -> massimiliano.cannata at osgeo.org

(they arrows might be in wrong direction, but I hope, you get the point)

Take in account with aliases that for gmail (MariaB told me some weeks ago) it's no longer possible to use an alias to send e-mails. On the other hand this is surprisingly working for those (like me) that configured that previously, who know for how long.

So, you need to send e-mails with a different SMTP server than the one provided by GMail. Please communicate this to the these new aliases owners so they know what to expect from this e-mail provider.

Yeah, another reason to have a full e-mail server at our infrastructure or somewhere else.

getting an error sending to one of the board aliases:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

jody.garnett@…

Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain osgeo.org by mail.osgeo.org. [140.211.15.3].

The error that the other server returned was: 550 5.1.1 <jody.garnett@…>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table

My guess is that Jody's alias points to his Gmail account (see Jorge's previous comment in this same ticket:
