Description

We would like to migrate the Brazilian gvSIG Community mailing list to OSGeo. This community is aimed to promote gvSIG for Brazilian-speaking users. Would it be possible? We would provide the archive and the list of users.

The list is in moderated state until we decide (tomorrow) if we wait to the migration of the archives and everything from the previous server.

I've added Joaquín del Cerro and Mario Carrera as admins with me and will send the password set up.

Resolution: → fixed
Status: new → closed

This list should now be imported from the tar file provided by Jorge. This should include the membership list and the archives.

The listinfo page still lists the name of this list as gvsig-br instead of gvsig-brazil. If this turns out to be a problem let me know and I can try to go through the process again. I think I might have botched the list name passed to the "withlist" command.

FYI the process was done based on the instructions at:

The tar files are still sitting on lists.osgeo.org in ~warmerdam.
