Description

We're currently keeping an Ubuntu-specific copy of build_oem.sh to cover issues specific to Ubuntu. The fixes in that copy of build_oem.sh however, are not distro-specific and a generally more to do with regenerating configure scripts and fixing file permissions that could cover the bases for other Linux distros.

We should merge these changes back into a single build_oem.sh
