Description
Since recent update of MeasureTool widget change OpenLayer style rules is not supported. In some case, it's could be a good idea to don't delete this feature.

You can already control the style you want by overriding the "getNewStyleMapObject" using the prototype method. Styling is too complex for a configuration integrator, but can be easily managed by a dev that way. Plus, the old way and the way you propose it doesn't cover all possibilities.
I'm closing this as "wontfix".
