Overview

• Create a separate directory to store all users files
  • database (if embedded)
  • logos ?
  • thesaurus
  • data (thumbnails, uploaded document)
• Define a GEONETWORK_DATA_DIR environment variable (default data directory in the root of the war file)
• Use the GEONETWORK_DATA_DIR on startup
  • Connect to the database
    • Create the database if schema is empty
    • Migrate to current version if schema is an old version (where to store the GeoNetwork version number ?)
    • Create a logo with old uuid (Administrator need to copy data and old logo)
