Inconsistent thumbnail actions

Thumbnail presentation seems to be inconsistent across interfaces and between metadata standards.

First, large thumbnails in the classic interface do not popup for iso19139 based standard metadata (this is true for 19139 profiles as well), but do for iso19115 metadata.

Second, images I loaded in the classic interface without fail are reported to be "corrupt or truncated" in the gui widgets search results summary view. Viewing these files in their "public" folder show them to have full integrity. The also appear without problem when viewing the individual metadata record in edit mode in the new gui.

Third, these is inconsistent action when double clicking the thumbnail in the new gui. For some metadata standards this triggers a download action. For others, there is an attempt to show the file. Double click should open the large thumbnail for preview.

First issues resolved in Ticket #950

Second issue - works for me. Any sample images that we can use for testing?

Third - Need more information - Would need more details on exactly where and what profile requires a download action (but should not) and which ones do not (but should)?

Are any of these issues still reproducible with the latest nightly builds? I will leave the ticket open for now - pending more information.

First and Second issues are resolved.

Third issue restated - I would personally like to see thumbnails behave in the Gui-widgets and Tabbed Search interfaces the same as they do in the classic GeoNetwork interface. Popup of the larger thumbnail when clicking on the small is very useful. However, this is not the current behaviour in the new interfaces. Current behaviour, regardless of profile, is as follows:

In the gui-widgets interface there is a popup thumnail but it is only the small thumnail which is no different than that displayed in the search results summary view.

In the Tabbed Search interface, this same action triggers a download of the small thumbnail. It would be preferred that clicking on the small thumbnail in the search results summary displays the large thumbnail (if present).
