Description
It's debatable whether this is a bug or an enhancement. The "Title" field in Identification info should be blank when the user is creating a new metadata. At present it fills it in using the name of the template. If it's not blank it's easy to miss that you've not filled it in, and I can't see why you'd want a metadata entry named after a template.

I surmised that was the behaviour but I don't think it's desirable.
As you noted, you can't leave the template title empty because then the users will have issues selecting the correct template (even if it's the only one as it will be, still looks odd with a empty-looking list).
Fundamentally I don't mind how it's implemented, but I really don't think its desirable to have this element filled in with the template name. Couple of possible solutions: a) My originally implied one - don't transfer the "title" element from the template to new metadata. b) Have another field especially for template names.
The point of a template is to be a template - it shouldn't include "extranous" information (and the name of the template is irrelevent once you're in the metadata.edit page).

Something for discussion on the devel list.
When the user creates a new metadata, the GeoNetwork editor presents the user with a copy of the template that was chosen by the user. This is a really a copy, so it contains all elements that are in the template, incl. text nodes, if present.
Therefore I do not think this ticket is either a bug or an enhancement. If you do not like to see the title of the template you could remove it from the template (although that conceivably causes some issues in the template selection lists -- but maybe *that* would be more of a bug/enhancement to be fixed). It would seem strange to introduce a special handling for just the title element -- the same logic applies to any template-filled elements, their content is copied when creating a new metadata.
