Merge 2.7 migration scripts with 2.8

Description
As 2.7 was not an official release there does not seem to be a need to have a 2.7 migration script. It gives the false impression that someone can migrate from 2.7 to 2.8 which is not possible.

Fixed in commit 9c08fabfb84f4bd42c4d25abfb332a97faca544e
