Description
We have users who have data spanning the date line. Data about El Nino for example.
In the current verion (2.7), we tried to add the bounding box of these data with eastbound < westbound. The result is we cannot find the data by selecting (part of) the bounding box. However, we can find the data if we select the "inverse" bounding box (the part which is not part of the bounding box of the data which spans the dateline).
We would like to request for an enhancement on GeoNetwork to cope with data which span the date line.
Note: We do not mean seaching with a bounding box which spans the date line in the GUI such as in ticket #890 "Panning beyond the international date line in the reference and interactive map", but saving data with such a bounding box.
