Tab switches when going to next page

When you return from a search, you will often see 100+ pages in the Next Pages section at the bottom of the screen. If you click on the Image Tab and then click on Next at the bottom, it will move you to the Metadata Tab. You should be able to scroll through the pages and stay on the tab of interest.

this is a legitimate annoyance. I hate it too. We will open a trac ticket on this. (sbortman)

This is now fixed and checked into svn. We need to probably use something different than sessions but we use session variable to remember the tab location while the user is logged in.
