Description
It would helpful to have a method of altering the labelcache_map_edge_buffer metadata at run time. For example, often the same mapfile is used to generate tile sets and single images for printing. Presently the gutter is in effect for the single image calls too.
One idea might be to add a "gutter=" parameter to the CGI/WMS support to allow changing or setting at run-time. This would be helpful from mapcache to especially if it could pass along the value set in its configuration on to the WMS server for metatile creation. You'd set it one place...
