It would be nice to be able to CTRL + A the text in the XML text editor, instead of having to right-click and "Select All"

Yes, that should be fairly easy to implement :).

Fixed in r3534.

Do you know of a better Text Editor for use in .Net applications?

I'm using SharpDevelop?'s text editor component in the trunk version of FDO Toolbox.

It's got syntax highlighting (very useful for editing xml) and all sorts of other goodies out of the box.

SharpDevelop? is licensed under LGPL and should be compatible (license-wise) with Maestro.
