ColorBrewer allows users to create visually-correct colour schemes for different map types:

It would be great if MapStudio OS could incorporate some of this capabilitiy... I believe that some of the info is here:

Wow, that is a very neat idea. I will certainly include those theming options, once I build a theming dialog.

I'm guessing that you already know about the MapGuide functions for performing things like standard deviation, quantile, natural breaks calculations?
