Maestro - Theme Improvements - Loss of transparency

Reported by: crispinatime Owned by: jng

Description

The theme improvements based on the initial (existing) thematic style do not preserve transparency.

Create a style on an area layer with transparency Launch the thematic builder and select to use style from first rule Build style and apply

Expected Result: transparency is preserved along with colour etc

Actual Result: transparency settings are lost

Current workaround is to reapply transparency on a per theme basis.

In addition the "Change Base Style" button does not allow me to select an area fill - the area checkbox is disabled

The "Change Base Style" button does nothing ultimately. The base style is not used or referenced at all in the code when themes are generated.

The "template from first rule" approach is much simpler anyways, so I'm going to remove this non-working functionality.
