Description
When adding a new layer to a map, the layer comes in at the bottom of the list/draworder. The default UI for editing the legend position allows the layer to be repositioned but is is possible for the layer to remain at the bottom of the draworder and yet appear to be in a group above other layers. For example, adding a new layer to a map with a raster, the new layer does not "appear" to be added on preview.
Suggestion 1) Always add new layers at the top of the list
Suggestion 2) Order the Maestro "Layers by Group" to be the same as the MapGuide legend - ie show ungrouped layers *above* grouped layers as this is how they will appear
Group / draworder / legend / map display is still confusing enough for me so the more intuitive help to the novice the better
