Need button to jump from layer to feature source

Description

I can double click a layer in a map to jump to the settings of the layer, but there is no way to jump from the layer to a feature source. A small button to the left of the text box with the path to the feature source would be perfect. Clicking the button should then open the settings of the assigned feature source.

Has this been checked into trunk only, or also the 4.0 branch?
