Description

MGRS 100KM labels for regions which are truncated by the hosting UTM zone are often positioned in the wrong place. The label positioning does not account for the truncation of the region by the UTM zone.

This defect could not be corrected with the current design. This submission improves, but does not correct this defect. The defect is that under circumstances, MGRS 100KM labels are positioned incorrectly. Thus submission simply suppresses the labels that would be positioned incorrectly. Thus, we convert the defect from labels being positioned incorrectly to labels which are missing. This is the best we can do within the constraints at this time.

Technically, in the case where both endpoints of a 100km region line are outside the UTM zone boundary, the line is not generated which results in a suppression of the label associated with this line. It is entirely possible that legitimate labels will be suppressed, but we chose suppressing data in favor of producing erroneous data.

This change was submitted to both the trunk and the acad/2.2gp sandbox.
