Missing MSVCR71.dll / MSVCP.dll prevent winGRASS from starting

Description

Hello all,

I downloaded WinGRASS-6.4.1-1-Setup.exe (12-Apr-2011 21:56 vn) and installed it on a desktop running Windows XP 5.1 with Service Pack 3.

Download and Install went OK - no problems.

When trying to start winGRASS I got multiple error messages about missing .dll files: MSVCR71.dll / MSVCP71.dll

I copied those .dll files from elsewhere on my system and pasted them into various folders under c:\Program Files\GRASS 6.4.1\

I put them into \bin and other folders that already had .dll files, as I did not know which folders winGRASS was expecting to find them in.

That has solved the problem - winGRASS has now started successfully - woot!
