Description
For C API exists OGRStyleTool http://www.gdal.org/classOGRStyleTool.html ( https://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/rfc18_ogr_styles_c_api ), to work with OGR Style strings and parameters. These features could be very useful in python API.
With mentoring from some more exprienced expert we can try to implement this feture.
