Translators on translated got lost after file merge

Description
After we consolidated all the files into one pot and single po for each language, the whole translation author history was lost.
I reenabled that plugin, but sadly I think all the old history is lost since those files are seen as different from the new file. Also it could just be because that plugin was disabled.
