Inaccurate note in ST_Centroid docs

Reported by: dbaston Owned by: robe
Priority: low Milestone: PostGIS 2.2.1
Component: documentation Version: 2.2.x

Description

The ST_Centroid docs contain a note that "Computation will be more accurate if performed by the GEOS module (enabled at compile time)."

Is the centroid not *always* computed by GEOS?

hmm good question. I assume for points it's not :) but then I don't think that would make the centroid calc any less accurate.

I say we just remove the note. It's probably left over from pre-1.0 days when GEOS was an optional dependency.
