Mapnik was upgraded to version 2 and the xml style definition changed. I upgraded the population.xml style file inside the tilelite.tgz with the script from Mapnik. It updated style works (on 6.0 alpha 3) with Tilelite and MapProxy.

Someone needs to upload the .tgz file.

Keywords: tilelite mapnik added

fwiw here's my mapnik -> mapnik2 conversion script. not guaranteed to be complete, but it has worked on a rather complicated osm.xml rules file.
