new ticket, old challenges

most recently, build osgeolive-docs 14.0~beta3-0~202103011439~ubuntu20.04.1

ERRORs detected by linkchecker include:

  • 140 missing references to favicon
  • broken sponsors link.

Many pages have links to page sponsors_osgeo.html but, the file exists under its language group (see info below)

The English links are fixes, I am checking the validity of the links in other languages

I see that GitHub Actions are failing to publish master to GH pages.

Do you think this is related?

I don't think so if we look at PR #712 : ​https://github.com/OSGeo/OSGeoLive-doc/pull/713

But broken links are constant problems (outdated urls, typos, ...) that stop the doc building process
