geonetwork -- size on disk

can anyone from the Geonetwork project confirm that 323MB on disk, cannot be trimmed somehow ? (we are having a disk space issue) thanks

geonetwork on o13 -- starts but examples are not present .. use the admin account to "load standards examples" and then navigate to Search; sample data for six examples is shown
