Ossimplanet crashes on VMWare player VM
|Reported by:||micha||Owned by:|
After launching Ossimplant, the splash screen comes up, then the application just closes. I allocated 1.5GB RAM to the VM.
From a console:
user@osgeo-live:~$ ossimplanet ossimPlanetEphemeris support disabled, please recompile with OSSIMPLANET_ENABLE_EPHEMERIS defined VMware: vmw_ioctl_command error Invalid argument. Aborted (core dumped)
This is specific to VMWare virtual machine. In a Virtualbox VM it works as expected.

This crash of ossimplanet still persists in RC2 (only in a VMWare Player virtual machine. VirtualBox works fine)

ossimplanet not included in bionic. Only valid for previous releases.
Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
