for long term maintenance deegree_stop.sh should be moved into the livedvd svn.

I agree to move the script to osge svn, but where exactly?
right next to the install script? as this folder currently only contains install scripts this didn't seem right to me. But where else?

The deegree stop script has been moved to OSGeo SVN into folder app-conf/deegree/ (revision 2959).
sorry, I don't understand the problem.
"ps fax" gives me two new threads after starting deegree. One is the deegree tomcat, the other is firefox (assuming firefox had not been started before).
"stop deegree" will shut down the deegree tomcat (killing the first opened thread) and leave firefox as it is.
Please explain.
