Specifically it looks like we could really help by including the Python SAGA bindings so that QGIS Sextante plugin works with SAGA on windows. https://github.com/polymeris/qgis/wiki/How-to-install-the-SAGA-Python-Bindings http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/saga-gis/wiki/Compiling%20SAGA%20Python%20Bindings%20on%20Windows

It looks like this ticket could be closed, since I see SAGA 2.0.8-3 available (thanks Victor!). (Note that SAGA 2.1.0 was released just under a month ago, 2013-07-02).
One thing that can be improved before closing this out is to add a Start menu item through a postinstall hook. Currently, it appears that I need to open an OSGeo4W shell and type the command "saga_gui" to start SAGA.
A good example is in qgis-x.y.z-r.tar.bz2 in: etc/postinstall/qgis.bat
I agree that this would be useful to include. Since it's fairly independent of other projects and small we might just need to drop it's files into a folder. Source is available if we want to build it.
