Description
GeoTools is going to migrate to git (http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTOOLS/Transition+to+GitHub) and would like keep the svn repository available in read-only mode.
Sorry for the lack of notice, the proposal was waiting on some research that is now complete (giving us a target transition of ... the weekend of July 1st (the idea being to minimise the impact during business hours)

The pages in the original report appear to be defunct, but a svn tree still exists https://svn.osgeo.org/geotools/. The RO state of this needs to be verified by someone with write access or by looking directly at the configuration. Project appears to now reside on github and has the following page referring back to the original svn repo - https://github.com/geotools/geotools/wiki/Linking-to-SVN

I made geotools svn repo directory read-only for webserver user.
Jody, did this actually get done? If so, could you close it? Otherwise make a note here, and I'll take care of it.
