Limit write access on svn.osgeo.org/osgeo to subset of LDAP users

Description
The general OSGeo SVN repository needs to be restricted so that only approved users have write access, so that we don't unintentially open it up to the world when the membership application is created.

I have created a new "osgeo" subversion group (in ou=svn) and reconfigured the osgeo repository to use it for validation.
It can be managed at:
https://www.osgeo.org/cgi-bin/auth/ldap_group.py?group=osgeo

Can we just create a conventional SVN authorization group for this? Or is something else more appropriate?
OK, to be honest, I'm only making this comment to see if the trac email to sac@… is working properly...
