The current Mapbender portal at mapbender.telacience.org is down for a week.

Same for me. http://geonetwork-opensource.org is also still defect.

The Mapbender project requests for a dedicated VM on osgeo4, see at: http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Infrastructure_Transition_Plan_2010#osgeo4
The server should be known as http://mapbender.osgeo.org (which currently redirects to http://www.osgeo.org/mapbender)
