Description
The comments to tickets are very important part of reports. Sometimes, comments are submitted accidentally unfinished or including errors. The only way to fix it is to resubmit a comment. This may make a mess in ticket reports.
Perhaps it would be possible to install TicketChangePlugin adding the functionality to edit ticket comments.

I'm gonna go with "Leave this as is, warts and all." If another SAC member feels strongly, they can take on installing the plugin and configuring it for anyone who cares.

Personally I prefer an accurate accounting of history, warts and all, rather than allowing folks to edit the past.
The exception is how to deal with spam or illegal content, but those haven't been a problem so far AFAIK, and the DB admin can be called in to fix the occasional transgression.
Certainly this option, if it is added, should only be open to trac admins.
The original ticket description is already editable by admins.
